| Puerto Calero is to be found on the southeast coast of Lanzarote. The port’s location on the SW coast of Lanzarote serves to shelter the port and its vessels from the dominant NE winds of the area. Furthermore, the mountains that form the coastline known as Punta Gorda and the proximity of the islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos provide protection from strong waves and the less frequent SW winds. |
